Saussure, Chomsky, Pêcheux: a metáfora geométrica do dentro/fora da língua

Resumo


The article describes how different theoreticians from different linguistic theories tend to describe language in terms of opposition between two perspectives. Starting from the assumption that language can be studied from different points of view, the author shows how theories of language and discourse use different terminology to decide what should be put inside and outside as concerns language studies.
