Escola no hospital: espaço de produção de subjetividades, cultura e transformação social
Resumo
Este artigo apresenta dados de uma pesquisa de doutorado a respeito de práticas educativas de professoras que trabalhavam com crianças e adolescentes hospitalizados em um Hospital Filantrópico da Bahia. O trabalho fundamentou-se na pesquisa etnográfica e na perspectiva multirreferencial. Os dados foram coletados de diferentes maneiras: entrevistas, análise de documentos e gravações em vídeo das aulas. As professoras praticavam a escuta sensível com os alunos, discutindo os problemas de violência urbana, preservação da vida e garantia dos direitos humanos. Todas essas questões estavam presentes no currículo. Este trabalho mostra as ações políticas as quais caracterizavam a escola no hospital, bem como as atenções oferecidas aos aspectos individuais em uma estrutura coletiva. O respeito à identidade e as diferenças eram utilizados como princípios norteadores das atividades.

Hospital school: space the production of subjectivity,cultural and social changes
AbstractThis article presented the data were obtained during Doctorate research carried out in the institution and some educational practices developed by teachers that have been working with hospitalised children and teenagers in the Hospital of the Social Work in Bahia. The work was based on ethnographic research and a multi-referentiality perspective. The data were collected in different ways: interviews, analyses of documentation and video recordings of the classes. Teachers were very sensitive to listen to the students’ worries, such as urban violence, life preservation and the guarantee of human rights. All these issues were present in the curriculum. This work shows the political actions that characterized a school inside a hospital, as well as the attention given to individual aspects despite the collective structure. The respect for some identity and individual differences were used as a starting point.
