Qualificação profissional do técnico industrial em plásticos
Resumo
No presente artigo, analisa-se, a partir de uma perspectiva crítica, a questão da qualificação profissional de técnicos de nível médio. As reflexões foram produzidas a partir de pesquisa realizada com egressos, professores e gestores do Curso Técnico Industrial em Transformação de Termoplásticos da Unidade Descentralizada de Ensino (UNED) de Sapucaia do Sul do CEFET/RS. Para o tratamento do tema, investigou-se tanto a formação técnica escolar recebida pelos egressos como os desafios enfrentados e as aprendizagens ocorridas no trabalho. Os conceitos de qualificação profissional, de competências e de educação politécnica foram utilizados para proceder a análise.

Professional Qualification of Industrial Technicians’ in Plastics
AbstractFrom a critical perspective, this paper analyzes the issue regarding the professional qualification of technicians who have attended a technical course in High School. The reflection is based on a research which was carried out with former Thermoplastic Transformation students, current teachers and school administrators in a vocational school located in Sapucaia do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil – UNED/CEFET/RS. I investigated the technical education the students had gone through, the challenges they had to face, and the learning they experienced in their workplace. The concepts of professional qualification, competence and polytechnic education were used to carry out the analysis.
