Resenha do livro Deixe estar: Patrimônio, Arqueologia e Licenciamentos Ambientais, de Gislene Monticelli, publicado em 2010, o qual busca trazer à tona a discussão que há anos ocorre dentro da arqueologia brasileira sobre a chamada, dentre outros nomes, Arqueologia por Contrato. Monticelli faz inicialmente uma macroanálise do contexto histórico, político e econômico da implementação de grandes obras no Brasil, valendo-se também de exemplos internacionais.

Abstract:
Gislene Monticelli's book Heritage, Archeology and Environmental Licensing, published in 2010, which seeks to bring to the fore the discussion that has been going on for years in Brazilian archeology about the call, among other names, Archeology by Contract. Monticelli initially makes a macro-analysis of the historical, political and economic context of the implementation of major works in Brazil, also using international examples.
