Abstract:
In the last decades, the archaeology of landscape has become a main theme intensely studied. It considers several perspectives, including people’s knowledge and their perception about the landscape and its elements. In that
way, this article seeks to contribute to the discussion about landscape, showing the case of pastoralists of the Andean valleys. The landscape for these people is internalized from their own dwelling based on paths, routes, and places, all connected with the notion of movement.
