Reflexões sobre o ensino, pesquisa e formação de professores na sociedade contemporânea
Resumo
É objetivo do presente artigo, refletir sobre algumas questões relativas à formação de professores no contexto da sociedade contemporânea, tendo como princípio básico a tríade ensino, pesquisa e formação, cuja indissociabilidade é indispensável a uma formação de qualidade. Trata-se de uma discussão teórica que tem como base a pesquisa bibliográfica e como tônica a reflexão, indispensáveis à discussão crítica da formação dos profissionais da educação. A proposta de uma reflexão com base em novos paradigmas encaminha-nos a uma revisão da formação do professor na universidade que, muitas vezes, não o prepara para a pesquisa e para uma prática pedagógica explícita, em relação às teorias que lhes são subjacentes. Os resultados alcançados evidenciaram que é necessária a formação de profissionais críticos e criativos. A conclusão a que chegamos é a de que somente a pós-graduação tem sido capaz de formar para a pesquisa, tendo em vista novos paradigmas e novas posturas dos sujeitos envolvidos, enquanto construtores de si mesmos e da sua história.

Reflections on Teaching, Research and Teacher Education inContemporary Society
ABSTRACTThis paper aims at reflecting on some issues regarding teacher education in contemporary society; its main principle is the triad teaching, research, and education, inseparable and indispensable aspects for qualifying education. It is a theoretical discussion based on a bibliographical review with an emphasis on reflection, which is fundamental to the critical discussion about teacher education. The proposal for a reflection based on new paradigms makes us rethink teacher education in college where the teacher may be taught neither to research nor to face an explicit pedagogical practice, regarding its underlying theories. The results have shown that it is necessary to graduate critical and creative professionals. We have arrived at the conclusion that only post-graduation courses have been able to teach how to research and have taken into account new paradigms and behaviors of subjects who construct themselves and their own history.
