O Seminário Internacional Turismo e Arqueologia: Patrimônio Cultural e Natural foi idealizado e promovido pela rede interinstitucional estabelecida entre a Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPEL), a Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) e o Instituto Politécnico de Tomar (IPT-Portugal), visando ao desenvolvimento de projetos nas áreas de Arqueologia, Paleontologia, Preservação e Educação Patrimonial e Turismo Cultural. Sua realização ocorreu em Pelotas/RS/Brasil, entre 24 e 27 de Novembro de 2004.

Abstract:
The International Seminar on Tourism and Archeology: Heritage Cultural and Natural Heritage was conceived and promoted by the interinstitutional network made between the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL), the University Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT-Portugal), aiming at the development of projects in the areas of Archeology, Paleontology, Preservation and Patrimonial Education and Cultural Tourism. Its accomplishment occurred in Pelotas / RS / Brazil, from November 24 to 27, 2004.
