Resumo


A grandmother é um mito presente em várias nações indígenas. Esse trabalho expõe diversas abordagens narrativas desse mito, trazendo exemplos de autoras indígenas dos Estados Unidos e do Canadá que constroem sua identidade e subjetividade no fluxo do debate contemporâneo entre as visões ocidentais e não ocidentais, presentificando  as grandmothers para materializar um amálgama dialógico entre a tradição e a modernidade.
