AS MEMÓRIAS E SOCIABILIDADES DOS IMIGRANTES BRASILEIROS EM SUAS CHEGADAS E PRIMEIROS TEMPOS EM TERRAS PARAGUAIAS

Resumo

The memories and sociabilities of Brazilian immigrants in their arrivals and early days in Paraguayan lands

O presente artigo visa analisar a chegada e os primeiros anos de estabelecimentos de imigrantes brasileiros no Paraguai, entre as décadas de 1970 e 1980, com o enfoque sobre as memórias de algumas trajetórias de imigrantes que se estabeleceram em alguns distritos dos departamentos de Alto Paraná e Itapúa, buscando perceber as sociabilidades e as redes associativas criadas por estes imigrantes. Trata-se de um estudo de história oral, na modalidade de histórias de vida. Inicialmente, partindo de fragmentos das memórias de trajetórias, analisaremos a chegada, após, o estabelecimento e, por fim, a nominação dos novos lugares com nomes de antigos.

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the arrival and first years of establishments of Brazilian immigrants in Paraguay, between the 1970s and 1980s, focusing on the memories of some trajectories that immigrants who settled in some districts of the departments of Alto Paraná and Itapúa, seeking to understand the sociabilities and associative networks created by these immigrants. It is a study of oral history, in the form of life stories. Initially, starting from fragments of the memories of trajectories, we will analyze the arrival, after the establishment and, finally, the naming of new places with the names of old ones
